So this is where I live...

I love this place. It feels good to wake up and have this kind of greenery and beauty around me. I love opening up the window and seeing both the forest around me and across the city. It is an interesting contrast, which alludes to much of Japanese society.

wow! how lucky you are!
i've just started studing japanese here in italy and i'd really like to get there! are you in kyoto? (kyoto and florence are twin cities!:P)

I do feel quite lucky to be here! It took a lot of work for my situation to be able to make it happen, but I am glad to be here!

well i was born in florence and i lived there for 22 years but i moved in rome 5 months ago. :D
